Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Marc Burmich (Mogul, LLC) handles information when you visit marcburmich.com. The short version: we collect only what we need to respond to you, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What we collect

When you contact us. The contact form asks for your name, your email address, and, optionally, a description of the challenges you’re facing. We also record the date and the type of browser you used, which helps us spot spam.

When you browse. We measure how the site is used so we can improve it: which pages are visited, how long people stay, which website referred them, and which links they click (for example, a free assessment or the podcast). Visits are grouped by a random, anonymous ID kept in your browser’s temporary storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. We do not record your IP address or anything that identifies you personally. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which works the same way without cookies.

How we use it

We use what you send through the contact form only to reply to you and to follow up about working together. We use analytics only to improve the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who helps us run the site

A few trusted service providers process information on our behalf:

  • Vercel hosts the website and provides Vercel Web Analytics.
  • Supabase securely stores contact form submissions and the anonymous visit statistics described above. Access is limited to the site’s own server; nothing stored there can be read from the public website.
  • Resend delivers a copy of each contact form submission to Marc by email.

Each provider handles your information only to provide its service to us.

Free assessments

The free assessments linked from this site are hosted on Google Forms. Answers you submit there are collected by Google on our behalf and are covered by Google’s Privacy Policy. We use your answers only to understand your situation and respond to you.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics work without cookies, and fonts, images, and video are served from our own site rather than third-party services. The only cookie we set is a sign-in cookie for the site owner’s private dashboard, which visitors never receive.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions for as long as they’re useful for our working relationship with you. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email marc@marcburmich.com and we’ll respond promptly.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and contact form submissions are stored in a database that the public cannot access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
